​Dr. Zahara Ayub earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from New York University School of Dentistry. She has a great passion for community service which allowed her to coordinate multiple community outreaches to provide dental education and oral cancer screenings for many people in the greater New York area.

She has participated in global dental care clinics in impoverished communities. Her passion for dentistry led her to complete her general practice residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. Through this training, she gained experience in surgical procedures, trauma care, and hospital-based dentistry. Dr. Ayub has skills in all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative procedures, surgical extractions, root canals, implant restorations, dentures, and esthetics. She is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and is trained in Botulinum injections for headaches, TMJ related pain, and facial esthetics. She also provides services in trigger point therapy injections in the head and neck for myofascial pain. Dr. Ayub is a member of the American Academy of General Dentists (AGD). Dr. Ayub has experience working as an educator before pursuing dentistry. She sees patients of all ages. She is a compassionate provider and works well with those who have dental anxiety.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and reading.​​
